Teaming Up: Whispering Walls Vinyl
I have been working with a friend of mine, Hayley, who owns a vinyl business along with her sister, Cami---Whispering Walls (see the button on the right hand column to check out some of their stuff, or click here) to produce a few designs I created initially for personal use and wanted to share them here.
I designed this as a gift to my parents for their 25th wedding anniversary. I choose a black marble tile and had the girls at Whispering Walls cut the graphic out of white vinyl. I loved the intense contrast of the two. It's very "now" yet still classic.

These next two are designs I created for the walls of our house, and while it's not the best quality photo, the utinsels below are cut from a metallic brassy-bronze vinyl (really pretty) and stand approximately 3 feet in height. I love how striking they are and how they serve as the focal point for my kitchen.

Below: I really loved this quote by Gordon B. Hinckley and wanted to incorporate it in a design where I could see it daily as a personal reminder. This is in black vinyl on an olive/moss green wall (although Cami later used this same design for her bedroom but in a blue vinyl, and it was really cute too). I love the whimsical yet contemporary feel it has to it.

Below: Here is a composition I created as a gift for our boss. Hayley then choose colors for it, cut from vinyl, and placed it on a tile. Two color variations can be seen below.

Of course, these were possible because of my collaboration with Whispering Walls. With the holidays fast approaching (or as a gift any time of the year, or for yourself) feel free to let us know if you are interested in purchasing vinyl crafts/decor, or would like custom vinyl graphics designed.

Thorpe Family
This is the Thorpe family (how about that baby, cutie eh?), I happen to work with Lisa and was thrilled when she asked if I would take some photos of her family to use as Christmas gifts, and for sentimental value as her son will be leaving on a mission soon. Although we had some issues with the weather/overcast we were able to squeeze in a few good shots and I was grateful for their patience. Here are a few pics from our shoot--we managed to capture some of the beautiful fall colors.

Ava: Baby Announcement
Meet Ava, my niece. Isn't she a cutie? I was thrilled when Jen, my sister in law, asked if I would design Ava's baby announcement. I loved the idea of incorporating a picture of big sister, Natalie, on the announcement along with the adorable red-head herself.
