Etsy Shop: 2012 Young Women Theme w/ Full Scripture

Check out the newest Etsy shop addition! I have had quite a few buyers for my original 2012 YW Theme poster (here), and because I have recently been receiving requests for a similar poster which would include the full scripture, rather than just the reference as in the original I am now offering one in my shop.

This would be a great addition to any Young Women classroom, framed and placed where they can see it every week; or even as a personal gift to a young woman herself. This newest poster can be purchased here

Etsy Shop: 2012 LDS Primary Theme Poster

Newest addition to the Etsy shop, 2012 Primary Theme : Choose the Right. My LDS-themed designs seem to be the top sellers in my shop and so I've been racking my brain for a while now trying to think of something fresh and fun to do with 2012 Primary theme, Choose the Right--which is where this design came into play. I love the traditional CTR shield but gave it a twist by placing a fun word layout within it, and making it "pop" by designing it in 5 kid-friendly colors.

This artwork can be purchased here.

CTR Primary Birthday Gift

I had a primary president contact me via Etsy in regards to creating a 5x7 image for the presidency to give to their primary children on their birthday next year. The final design was just to cute to not post! She knew she wanted a CTR emblem, 3 different colors (one for boys, girls, and teachers) and the year "2012" included, and from those details I came up with these cuties below. What a fun idea for the primary children to have next year!

New! In the Esty Shop

How great is this saying?! My sisters-in-law told me they saw a saying (similar to this, I switched it up a tad) and that it reminded them of me. (What can I say? Those girls know me well!) I couldn't resist but design a poster! I initially intended for it to be for my own personal use, but hey...why not share the joy this little beauty brings!

Available now in my Etsy shop (additional color schemes coming soon!)

"House Rules" Wall Art

I have been trying to come up with an idea of something I could put in my large 16x14 frame--(and two coinciding 8x10's)--- that hang on my wall. They once contained 2 year old photos of me and my husband and I was really feeling the need for a change. After weeks of deliberation this is what I came up with.

Typography is a big thing right now--especially in terms of "subway art"--and I took that into consideration when trying to decide on what I should create to put in my frames. I had seen something similar to this before and thought it was such a cute idea. It's a list of "house rules"---which could obviously be done with many different sayings/rules--but I choose to use those of which I felt appropriate to our home.

This one has an olive/moss green background to match the rest of my decor in the living room but could easily be changed to suit any color scheme. If you're interested in a copy, shoot me an email! I think this would make a great gift or a nice little addition to your own house.

And, one for me...

Like I said, it wouldn't be long before I had one of these for myself. (Although I haven't printed it yet, I did spend some time doing this that I should have been studying for finals....oops). Doesn't this feel so "vintage" though? I love it. I choose to use one of our wedding photos, which I would have liked to have done for Kellie's but since I had to steal the photo from the wedding invite I did for her, I had minimal photo options. I have had a request from my cousin to make one for her using the Provo Temple as the photo since she now has kids and felt like a wedding photo would have to be displayed in her bedroom (that sounds strange, but you know what I mean). I thought that was a great idea. A family photo would also be nice. Lots of options, and I think something like this makes a great gift. Mother's Day is just around the corner!

A Wedding Gift

I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now, and love how it turned out. This is a design I created and framed 11x14 as a piece for my friend's wedding gift. (As she is getting married tomorrow I am hoping she's too busy to see this before she opens it.... :0) I like it so much that I don't think it'll be long before I start working on one for myself. If you're interested in having one of YOUR own, or to give as a gift, let me know!

Typeface Poster

Just wanted to share a couple posters I designed for my typography class---on the typeface "Palatino", of course. It just happens to be one of my favorites, although I mostly posted these to share the design and color schemes---that I happen to love---as I realize most people, unless your a designer, could care less about a typeface.
