Andrea + Tyler

This month has been booming for me as far as wedding invites go, and I was no-less than excited when Andrea asked me to design her wedding invite for her. I worked with Andrea for a few years at Work Care and was so glad to get to associate with her again. She asked for a 5x7 layout using her colors: black, white, and purple. I have always loved the black and white color scheme with a pop of accent color--it's simple, yet classic and elegant--and I love the purple Andrea chose for hers!

Thanks Andrea for allowing me to create a piece for your wedding! I wish you and Tyler the best as you start your life together---I'm so happy for you! :0)

Jill + Shane

Here is yet another in my latest wedding invitation designs. A few months ago I did an invitation for Shelly's daughter Alicia (seen here), and I was so excited when she called me up again to design another invitation, this time for her daughter Jill. Returning customers are always such a great compliment!

Jill and Shane knew exactly what they wanted when I met with them and I loved the design they had in mind. They chose a z-fold layout (seen below) & their wedding colors were turquoise and a tangerine-like orange. The cover and inside spread of the invitation was all about the photos, which I thought was fun and unique from what I've done in the past. The "back cover" and spread consisted of the balloon photo and a fun dot design I put together including their names and wedding date. Best wishes to Jill & Shane in the future!

Shaylee + Krieg

This is one of the few wedding invites I've been working on lately.

Shaylee requested the layout I did for Kellie & Brian's announcement, (seen printed here), and incorporated their colors which were a really dark purple, baby blue, & chocolate brown. I love when people have unique color schemes for their wedding to include in the announcement, it makes my part a lot of fun and helps bring about some creativity.

I think they turned out great and both Shaylee & Krieg were wonderful to work with, especially considering the whole design & printing process was done through long distance communication as they live down in Blanding. As always I was grateful for the designing opportunity and want wish them the best on their wedding day!

Cristie & Kole Photos

Although I'm no pro, after the Vincent kids' photo shoot my friend Cristie asked if I would take some photos of her and her son Kole, so we loaded up and headed to the farm and got these adorable pics. Isn't he a cutie with that grin & his mom so photogenic? Sure helps an amateur like myself.

Vincent Kids: Preview

This cutie belongs to a friend who was persistent in her request that I take some photographs of her kids (she has two other cuties who we got great shots of as well).
Although I tried to explain to her that most of my photography thus far, as little as it is, has consisted mostly of stationary, pre-posed objects (such as trees, buildings, etc), she still wanted me to give it a try.

Here is just a taste from the shoot. I must say, I think I even surprised myself....it does help though to have great kids (who are stinkin' cute) to take photos of....so I can't take full credit. :0) (Stay tuned! More to come soon!)

"Proclamation" Designs: Temples

I've had a lot of compliments on these "Proclamation to the World" designs and decided I'd make a couple generic ones that include a pic of temples in place of photos of individuals. When framed these make wonderful wedding gifts! The first designs are Provo & Salt Lake. More to come!
